The Friends of the Thomas Memorial Library (FOTML) is a division of the Thomas Memorial Library Foundation, an non-profit organization founded in 2005 to support the library and its services. FOTML is made up of a dedicated group of volunteers. Our annual Fall Book & Bake Sale, and our Lobby Book Sale in the spring and summer months raise funds that directly benefit library programming, collection maintenance, and other projects.
FOTML accepts donations of books and other items year-round for our summer lobby sale and Fall Book & Bake Sale. Donations may be placed in the donation bin located in the entryway of the library (please see library staff for a drop-off location if you have large or numerous boxes of items to donate.)
Members of FOTML meet on Monday mornings in the library's Community Room to sort and categorize donations. Volunteers are always needed to help with the Fall Book & Bake Sale as well. If you are interested in joining FOTML or becoming a volunteer, please contact Valerie Hall.
